For those of you who want a little less crusty crust and more of the soft white stuff, meet our Tiny Tin Sourdough Loaf 800g – available every week. This little cutie will be sure to keep the sourdough reluctants, first-timers, doubters, holdouts, and non-believers coming back for more!
It’s made using the same dough as our Signature Farmhouse Loaf – a blend of sustainable and organic local roller-milled and stoneground whole wheat and heritage flours (Emmer, Khorasan, Spelt, and Wheat), organic stoneground rye flour, filtered rainwater, and sea salt. But instead of being fermented in a banneton and cooked directly on the chamotte oven stone deck, it’s fermented and baked in a little steel baker’s loaf tin – which means a softer crust, a more even crumb, and a perfectly sliceable shape that’s ideal for sandwiches and toast.
We slice ours after a day or two and freeze it for toasting.
